Primark first opened its store under the name Penneys in Dublin in 1969 and now is the biggest discounted store with 350 stores in eleven countries, now on the 4th of April 2019 opened its biggest store worldwide to date in Birmingham UK.
A Shopping Paradise Dream Come True!
When you first enter the store it does really hits you how big it is with it spreading over 5 floors and having 160,100ft to have the ultimate shopping experience to spend all day there if you wish to browse the womenswear, menswear, kidswear, beauty and homeware. You are defiantly sure to find something there with their amazing fashion and amazing prices showcasing the latest trends.
The Duck Squad comes to Primark!
If five floors of fashion weren’t enough, they have added Duck & Dry beauty studio for all your beauty needs. They offer hair services so if you want your hair straightened or curled just ask for Straight Down, Wave Wonder or Bouncy Beaut. If you nails need rescuing from the daily chaos then head to their Duck and File Xpress where you can have manicures, pedicures and gel polishes and nail art to add a bit a glamour or drama to your fingertips and if you eyebrows are looking like enemy’s not sisters head to Duck and Pluck where they can wax, tint, thread and add lash on’s to make you look that special.
Don’t worry men you haven’t been missed out on the grooming either. If you wish to look like Fifty Shades of Jamie Dornan or Rocket like the man Taron Egerton head to Joe Mills Barbershop. At Mills you will be relaxing in the barber chair while getting a great service at an affordable price.
Mickey Mouse has come to Town!
All that shopping and pampering has got you hungry and thirsty don’t fret as you can experience the dining venues in Primark.
You will find the first ever Disney Café on the top and it is not hard to miss with big oversized Mickey ears greeting you at the entrance. It is the perfect places for the little ones and the big kids alike as they serve Mickey Mouse pancakes, salads and hot and cold drinks and while waiting for your food and drink you can play on the interactive tables full of games to keep you busy. But be prepared to wait in line for a table as it is very popular. If you are wanting something more simple head to the Mezz Café where they serve coffees, pastries and frappes or there is the Mezz Restaurant, which is perfect if you go in the morning as they cook a Full English breakfast and salads and burritos at lunchtime. If doughnuts are tickling your taste buds head to the Primarket as you customise your own with sprinkles, chocolate and icing!
Facilities and Opening Times
There are toilets are located on each floor along with a disabled toilet with changing facilities and grab rails. The fitting rooms are nice and big and enough space for a manual chair and a carer to move around in. The opening times to Primark Birmingham High Street are Monday-Saturday 8am to 9pm and Sunday 11am-5pm ( opens at 10:30am for browsing only).
It is truly an amazing idea turning the Pavilions into one big Primark as Primark has become one of the UKs biggest retailer as it is constantly in demand due to its discounted prices and on trend fashion pieces. The layout of the whole store has been designed well and I feel you can access every area of the store ( if you navigate around the people) and get the whole shopping experience in a wheelchair or not. Birmingham was a great place to pick to put the world’s biggest Primark on the map as it can easily be reached by car or train and makes it a prime location if you to visit again and again!
After all it has Amazing Fashion at Amazing Prices!
